Children’s Hospital Boston is a 368 bed comprehensive center for pediatric health care. As one of the largest pediatric medical centers in the United States, Children’s offers a complete range of health care services for children from birth through 21 years of age. For the 17th year in a row, Children’s Hospital Boston has been rated one of the nation’s top two hospitals specializing in pediatric care according to a survey by U.S. News and World Report and Child magazines. Children’s Hospital is the primary pediatric teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, where most physicians hold faculty positions.
The Great Moves! program is provided in collaboration with the physicians of Children’s Hospital Boston and is based in part on the research and experience of the Optimal Weight for Life program developed by Dr. David Ludwig at Children’s Hospital. As part of this exciting collaborative effort, medical supervision and services at Great Moves! are provided by physicians who are on the staff of Children’s Hospital.
